TSCA CFRs Made Easy provides a timesaving guide that makes understanding and complying with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) regulations easier than ever before.
The third book in Government Institutes’ “CFRs Made Easy” series, this new book serves three functions: it helps readers fulfill their legal obligations, it condenses a massive amount of complex toxic-substance information into one resource, and it provides additional practical material – not just the straight regulations. This provides environmental managers, consultants, engineers, chemical companies, regulators and lawyers with the information they need to understand the program and ensure compliance.
Focusing on TSCA’s essential regulatory requirements, author Andre R. Cooper Sr. saves readers time by condensing over 1,000 pages of requirements – found in the Code of Federal Regulations Title 40 Parts 700 to end – into one 350-page book. For additional ease of use, Cooper organizes the requirements into 28 sections explaining 25 TSCA programs – including programs for asbestos, lead and PCBs.
Finally, TSCA CFR’s Made Easy provides more than 65 pages of additional resources, including boxed explanations, examples and contact information found throughout the text. Other resources include a 16-page chart of chemical substances that are subject to reporting under the Significant New Uses Rules; a list for EPA dockets, libraries and topical resources; and a 51-page TSCA Master Testing Listing.
