OSHA’s new Employee Payment for personal protective equipment (PPE) rule must be implemented by May 15, 2008. It requires employers to provide most PPE at no cost to their employees to ensure better protection for all workers. The rule is intended to clarify OSHA’s PPE Standard and provide employers with control over the issuance and use of PPE.
