Answer: Yes, new customers need to register at nsc.org to create a profile. Your registration will be recognized by the shopping cart before completing your online order. Previous web registrants simply need to sign in as “returning users” on our website to complete their order.

3. Question: What credit cards do you accept for payment?
Answer: We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
4. Question: Are different shipping options available?
Answer: Yes, with UPS as our shipping partner, we offer standard ground shipping as well as expedited shipping options. Your shipping preference can be selected during the ordering process.
5. Question: Does the shopping cart auto;calculate shipping costs?
Answer: Yes, after a shipping option is selected, the cost is added to the invoice before completing the order.
6. Question: If I work for a tax exempt organization; will I be charged taxes on a shopping cart order?
Answer: Tax exempt organizations can avoid paying taxes on their order by calling Customer Service at 1-800-621-7619 to place their order by phone. The shopping cart does not recognize tax exempt status.
7. Question: When will my order ship?
Answer: Orders placed by 3:00 PM CST Monday through Thursday, will be processed and shipped within 24 hours. Orders placed on a Friday, will ship the next business day. First Aid Student Workbook orders may be delayed due to First Aid Instructor credential verification.
8. Question: Will I receive an email confirmation for my order?
Answer: Yes, a confirmation is emailed immediately and contains your Order Number and a summary of products ordered. The confirmation serves as your paid receipt.
9. Question: How may I use your materials?
Answer: Copy Waiver of First-Sale Doctrine:

The National Safety Council’s materials are fully protected by the United States copyright laws and are solely for the non-commercial internal use of the purchaser. Without the prior written consent of the National Safety Council, purchaser agrees that such materials shall not be rented, leased, loaned, sold, transferred, assigned, broadcast in any media form, publicly exhibited or used outside the organization of the purchaser or reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise. Use of these materials for training for which compensation is received is prohibited, unless authorized by the National Safety Council in writing. Merchandise in the shopping cart is generally available to both members and nonmembers of the National Safety Council. (Certain awards, incentive materials and other items bearing the National Safety Council emblem may be purchased only by members and US Government agencies.) National Safety Council materials may not be used to convey the impression that the Council has approved any commercial product or service.

10. Question: What is your return policy?
Answer: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may qualify for credit or exchange if the merchandise is returned within 30 days of shipment. Products must be unused, in saleable condition and in original packaging. Important Exceptions: Software and other digital products such as CD ROMS, DVDS and downloadable articles, as well as personalized products, are excluded from the return policy.

Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-621-7619 for a Return Materials Authorization (RMA). Any returns made without the Return Materials Authorization cannot be credited or refunded. A restocking fee may apply.

11. Question: What do I do if I receive damaged products or items are missing from my shipment?
Answer: Please open all boxes immediately upon receipt. If there is a damaged product or you are missing products, call Customer Service at
1-800-621-7619 as soon as possible. A UPS Call Tag will be issued to pick up damaged goods. Replacements for damaged goods or missing products will be shipped promptly. NSC will incur freight charges for replacements.
